Paddle Trail: Sugar Hill to Steel Bridge on Combahee River

How To Use This Trail · This trip is run one way on a falling tide. Click here for Beaufort tides.· This trip is rated “beginner”, and is best for paddlers with some experience. Hazards that may be encountered include wind-generated waves, intermediate tidal currents, and summertime heat and thunderstorms.
· Be aware of weather conditions. Up to the minute forecasts should be consulted before beginning this trip. Strong winds should be avoided. Click here for a weather forecast.
